At Sun Basket, George led a team on intimate, in-home interviews to explore the question, “How might we help people eat healthier dinners?” Interviews were conducted across the country as people cooked meals, ate, and shopped for groceries. A complex picture developed highlighting the complexities many face when it comes to cooking a healthy food at home.

Following each interview, observations and quotes were distilled on notes by the team. As interviews progressed, trends, challenges, and opportunities emerged. Out of this research, the team was able to identify new market opportunities for the company to focus on, as well as insights and inspiration to sharpen our internal definitions of what different people consider to be “healthy” food.
